• How long does custom decorative film last?

  The durability of decorative film mainly depends on its material quality, usage environment and maintenance. Generally speaking, high-quality decorative films can last 5-10 years or even longer with normal use and proper maintenance. However, if decorative window film is used in a harsh environment or is not properly maintained, decorative film's service life may be shortened. Therefore, in order to ensure the service life of the decorative film, it is recommended to perform regular cleaning and maintenance and avoid prolonged exposure to strong sunlight or humid environments.

• Does the custom decorative film block the view from the outside?

  Some decorative films are completely transparent and will not oppress the head's line of sight, while some decorative films are designed with patterned colors or may block the head's line of sight in certain flow charts, there are also some decorative films that are translucent, which can allow some light to enter the room while ensuring privacy. Therefore, whether the decorative film will crowd the outdoor sightline needs to be determined based on the specific type and design of the decorative film.

• How is decorative film installed?

  The installation steps of decorative film are as follows:

  
  

  Clean the surface: First, make sure the surface you want to apply the decorative film on is clean, flat, and free of dust and oil stains. You can wipe the decorative film with a damp cloth and wait for the surface to dry completely.

  
  

  Measure the size: Use a tape measure to measure the size of the area to be filmed, and then cut the decorative film to the corresponding size based on the measurement.

  
  

  Peel off the backing paper: Slowly peel off the backing paper of the decorative film starting from one corner to expose the sticky part on the back.

  
  

  Filming: Align one corner of the decorative film to the area to be pasted, then slowly spread the decorative film flat, and use a scraper or credit card to smooth it from the middle to both sides to eliminate air bubbles.

  
  

  Adjustment and trimming: If the position of the decorative film is incorrect or there are excess parts, you can gently tear it off and readjust it. Use a razor blade to trim away excess decorative film along the edges.

  
  

  Completion: Finally, use the scraper to scrape from the center to both sides again to ensure that the decorative film is completely attached to the surface without bubbles or wrinkles.

  
  

  Note: Keep your hands clean during the installation process to avoid oil stains and dust on your hands from contaminating the decorative film. If the decorative film is not sticky enough, you can use a sprayer to spray some water or soapy water on the surface. This will make the decorative film easier to move and adjust.
